Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time
November 8, 2026
9:30 am
Archdiocese of Washington priests have dedicated their lives to selflessly serve the faithful and the community in furthering Christ’s mission for decades, and in some cases, more than a half-century. Please honor their lives of service through support of the Retired Priests Collection. Envelopes will be provided in the pews at Mass on November 7 and 8 for you to enclose your support.

Holy Redeemer Arimatheans are seeking new volunteers.
The Arimatheans is a ministry where volunteers serve as acolytes (altar servers) at funeral and memorial Masses, providing assistance to the priest celebrant. This work can be considered a corporal act of mercy, as we participate in the process of respectfully burying the dead by supporting the Masses. All adults are welcome; no experience is needed. If you are interested in this ministry or would like more information, please contact Peter Burgess at 301-502-2866.
This year, in addition to our longstanding Greg Gannon Canned Food Drive (GGCFD), Holy Redeemer is excited to bring back our Families Feeding Families initiative!
Through this special effort, we hope to provide 150 Thanksgiving dinners to families served by two parishes in Southeast Washington, DC. Our students will help assemble the meals, and we are asking our school and parish community to help sponsor them.
Please see the flyer for details on how you can contribute. All donations are requested by November 13.
And stay tuned! We'll be sharing more information about this year's Greg Gannon Canned Food Drive next week.
