THE GABRIEL PROJECT NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Presently 14 pregnant mothers are waiting to get help from the Gabriel Project. They are expecting to deliver their babies at various times over the next 7 months. Women Angel Friend volunteers are urgently needed to assist these mothers and can thereby make a big difference in the lives of these mothers and their families. The usual time commitment is 1-2 hours per month. This includes keeping in touch with them via text, phone, or e-mail during their pregnancy; bringing them needed items, such as diapers, baby clothes, formula, etc., that are provided by the project; and praying for them. Men are also needed to deliver and assemble cribs or to pick up donations once or twice per month. We have several husband-and-wife teams presently assisting. St Ann’s in Bethany Beach DE has a small Chapel (Blessed Michael McGivney Chapel) that is open for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Monday through Fridays, 7AM to 8PM. It closes on weekends and during Masses at St. Ann’s.
St. Jude the Apostle in Lewes, DE has
an Adoration Chapel that has also been designated as a pilgrimage site for the 2025 Jubilee Year by the Diocesis of Wilmington.
